Vehement Bubble Krane

After discovering that part of my privileges of being a student worker in the sculpture studio are copping any and all great pieces of wood left behind by ungrateful freshmen who have no idea what they are throwing away, I have become quite the hoarder and texture snob when it comes to painting anymore. The freshman foundation sculpture class uses such nice smooth pine, as Joe put, "it can be as smooth as a baby's ass when sanded with some 220". One mans trash, another girl's canvas.

So basically, as Nancy Chunn (my wenesday painting teacher) put it, "Oh what a fantastic world you live in!", Upon looking at these two paintings. She declared she wanted to come live there as well and I stared at here blankly because I could only imagine what volumes of crazy she must have been thinking I was.
