I'm working on a new painting. It's gone through two phases thus far. I just know that I want it to have the general feeling of a floating world that is unraveling off of a spool of string. But it has definitely evolved off of a drawing I did on a piece of notebook paper. That's where the yellow background came from.

The bigger of the two images is where the painting is at currently. I want to give it a psychedelic, airy feel I suppose. I've been listening to a lot of Pretty Lights, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Heartless Bastards, Mouse on Mars, music like that. Stuff I can zone out to but still be a member of this universe.
I hope it goes the way I plan. But I guess that's not the idea.

"nothing isn't nothing, nothing's something that's important to me. that's right. and everyone's a little nothing, that's ok, that's how it should
be... That's right, that's right."
